I don’t quite know why, but I love jumping into other people’s podcasts to talk about what’s on my mind. I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts, so I find it’s my way to see what others are up to with their productions–and to meet new people! Over the last few months I was fortunate to be on 3 great podcasts, and I wanted to make sure you all didn’t miss them.
First, I was back on the Every Night Is Game Night podcast along with Paul Grogan of Gaming Rules! to talk about theme in games. This was a delightful podcast as Paul and I have a lot of similar gaming tastes and I think we were all able to address the topic in a much deeper way than it’s usually discussed.
Then I made an appearance on the Meeple Overboard podcast where we talked about economics in games–I topic I’ve been meaning to write about but hadn’t gotten around to yet. This was the first podcast guest appearance where they wanted a very specific topic to go over, and I think it worked out great. Chris and Wendy were so friendly and created a great discussion.
Finally I returned to We’re Not Wizards with a podcast that…..well, it’s a podcast. Right before, Richard asked me if there was anything I wanted to talk about. I said “no”, and then we went on to talk about milk for 20 minutes. Caveat audientis.
